Out to see a band at a pub tonight.

choices are:-

All saints big cat print black tshirt plus black jeans
zara sort of metal round rivets round armholes black vest top and black jeans
next new Fluoro pink diamanté top with blue jeans

metallic trainers or Hoff Dragonfruit trainers.

What should I wear?

What type of band? By which I mean I would dress differently depending on the band I am going to see.

No idea think just normal standard pub band maybe slightly on rock side.

I think you're overthinking it. You're going to a pub on a Saturday night. The pink diamanté top is probably ott unless the pub is the sort of pub where people wear pink diamanté tops.

It’s more a tshirt but yes OTT. Yes I may be overthinking it.

Lay them out and give us a photo if you really want opinions.

Not the pink top then, probably the All Saints black t-shirt, black jeans and whichever of the two pairs of shoes go better with that outfit.

Laying them out would definitely help!

By "big cat print" do you mean this sort of print rather than an all over animal print?

Honestly I do think you're overthinking it. You have 3 outfits which are jeans and a t-shirt; all of them are fine for a pub - even the diamanté one. Which one/ combination do you like best?

So far as the trainers, trainers all look the same to me; either pair will go with black or blue jeans.

It’s sort of similar to this but a smaller cat print.

The reason I’m stressing a bit is these are friends I haven’t seen for ages. Feel like I’ve put on a bit of weight and have no idea what to wear.

I like all the outfits but Hoff trainers are new so maybe best kept for somewhere where they won’t get ruined, need to stay with trainer protector.

Jeans, T-shirt and trainers. It's your local boozer with most likely a bunch of 40+ hobby musicians that work in IT/schools/finance offices Mon-Fri having a good time on a Saturday night, not the Royal Philharmonic.

(said as one of those 40+).

To be fair OP I'd spend more time thinking about what I was going to wear on a night out than to a classical concert. Unless it's something like the Viennese New Year's gala concerts no one is going to be looking there.

If I wanted to feel good in front of people I hadn't seen for a while, I'd wear the newest items. I'm not sure why the Hoff trainers would get ruined, so I'd wear them. I don't believe in keeping things for good.

OP: "I need help!"

Me: if you post a layout photo we could try to help.

OP: ignores, carries on taking about clothes we can't actually see.

🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t really have time to post layout photos!

But thanks for tips.

It would be quicker than typing your posts and you'd get immediate responses as to which.
