Who's bought (and returned) stuff from Community Clothing?

I finally bit the bullet and bought some jeans which arrived fairly quickly. Just shy of a hundred quid with delivery. They arrived and are lovely quality but are just too big. Frustrating as I used the size checker thing on the website but there you go.
Returns aren't free (which I knew). I did a tracked return yesterday that cost me NINE QUID!!! I've requested an exchange of the size down so huge fingers crossed they do actually fit.
But I had a look at the Trustpilot reviews yesterday and there a lot that say that they've been waiting ages for refunds / exchanges, that customer service is none existent, that they are going to need to take it further etc. these reviews are recent too.
I'm now worried that I'm going to be over £100 down with nothing to show for it.
Can anyone reassure me?!

Sorry, I've only ever bought. The quality is fantastic. Now I'm worried about trying bigger items which I want to.

That's not been my experience at all op and I've bought and returned a number of times. The only issue I've ever had was when they were once a bit slow to dispatch something I'd ordered. I emailed them and they responded very quickly, apologised and, if my memory is correct (it was a few years ago) refunded the postage costs - which I hadn't asked them to do. Admittedly the company has grown since then but I'm surprised to hear about those reviews.

Normally if I return something, I get an email within a couple of days to confirm it's arrived and telling me when to expect the refund in my account. So if you don't hear from them quickly, I'd email them and ask.
