Best cream for dry eyelids?

UpUpUpU · 25/05/2024 07:52

My eyelids have become really dry over the last few weeks. I have ben putting cetraben cream on them, and whilst it's soothing, it's not actually helping the dryness.
I am 40 and have very hooded eyelids so this is not a good look :(

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

At night I always use Vaseline as the last thing after moisturiser and serum.

It's great around the eyes and lips and it seems to lock in moisture.

I find probiotics helped with my dry skin on my eyelids. I took a supplement from Holland and Barrett, only a cheap one as I was really suffering and I had researched that high sugar/yeast diet triggered my dry skin around my eyes.

I use the eucerin cream, put it on thick at bedtime, I have very dry eyes from allergies.

I have very dry skin too. It is not cheap, but I have never found a better eye cream than Sarah Chapman Skinesis Eye Recovery Cream. Maybe go to a Space NK to try before you buy, but I love it and always come back to it even after trying others.

Kiehl's ultra facial advanced repair barrier cream.

Thank you all.

I already take probiotics but will definitely look into the creams.

Thanks again

Not to use regularly but to get under control , hydrocortisone cream . I do as per GP advice , completely sorts it out in a day or so and then you can stay on top of it with something you can use more regularly
