Should I wash my hair?

Got hair appointment tomorrow 9am for full head of highlights. Washed hair last night then tied back all day. Been out to work tonight so straightened it and had it down- now feels slightly greasy and will be worse in the am I should imagine. Does anyone know if highlights can be put onto greasy hair? I dont know anything about hairdressing! Hairdresser knows what colour to mix and use if that makes any difference.

It probably won't make much difference for the highlights.

I'd probably wash it though, so it's a nicer experience for the hairdresser.

If I wash it at 8am it'll still be damp though- which would be worse from the highlights taking properly POV?

Actually the only time people comment on my hair ie have you had it done, is when it is due to be done again!
