Expensive balayage - would you go back to the salon?

Am I being overly picky here, would you go back and ask the salon to fix this? It’s not totally ruined but I feel like it’s just not a nice finish. There are big chunky banding problems, gaps in where the bleach was applied and its overall just made my hair look worse than it was before!
To make it worse I paid £250 for this.

That is A LOT to pay. But a reputable hairdresser would fix that free of charge. I have a good relationship with mines (£60 for full head of highlights, tint and cut) and have gone back when I'm not quite happy about anything, no issues at all.

£60?? Do you live in 2003?

I would go back as first pic looks like there is a missed big spot.
In most jobs £250 is a solid day wage, they have time to fix it up

For that much it should be absolutely flawless. So I’d complain. (I live in Norfolk and that would cost about £70-80 here).

Have you had Balayage before as this just looks like a okay highlight job, but appreciate over time balayage does end up looking a bit one colour. For £250 I'd want exactly what I asked for.

Feel your pain. Had balayage too and it cost me 185. Nothing special at all and she cut my bangs too short. Lesson learned, expensive isn't necessarily the best. If I were you I'd go back and complain.

I don't think it should look patchy, I'd go back. I'd also not use that salon again.
