Which do you think tends to fare better when in and out of the pool / sea all day?

I love my BIAB

How hot OP? Think biab would be fine but acrylic may not survive if too hot

Biab as long as they're freshly done as they do start to lift after a few weeks and water will make that worse

I get acrylic, they last for ages. I didn’t really like BIAB when I had it done.

Average temp between 32-38,does that make a difference? I get really fed up of my gels lifting at the base within a week, would like to add a bit of length and keep them looking nice for two weeks, as I tend to start picking at them when they lift. Will acrylic melt?

Does your acrylic lift or melt on a 2 week holiday?

Do you think if I got BIAB 2 days before I go away, that they would last with the water and heat for two weeks?

Builder gel should last until your next appointment, it shouldn't be lifting especially not within a week of them being done. That suggests that your nails haven't been prepped properly so maybe try somewhere new. I do my own builder gel nails and easily get 3+ weeks out of them, the only reason I take them off at that point is because they're growing out, but they are always still in tact and not peeling

BIAB. I personally don't like acrylic nails. Gel I have had in the past and it had peeled in heat.
