I have poker straight hair , it's about 4 inches below the shoulder and I'm trying to grow my fringe out, which is driving me mad , I also have a cows lick.
i used to have my hair permed back in the day, I used to dry it and use a hot brush to curl it. My fringe seemed to sit better with the perm and the cows lick didn't seem to be so difficult to control, the curls would last until I washed it again.
I have a Shark flexstye and rough dry my hair and then use the curling thingy, the curls last about as long as it takes me to walk down the stairs.
I'm considering having a loose perm , what do you think?
