As above - thank you!

I've actually lost a stone since last holiday (accidentally over 18 months) however am still overweight, and carrying round a not so lovely hanger belly after 2 c-sections.

I've been browsing, but I'd prefer the tried and tested for a 48 year old. 5'8. 14 stone 😭 and it's all around belly and middle. Oh and poo preferably arse covering, but tbh I'm straight out of pool and bottoms on!!

Thank you for reading.

I got this one from Amazon last year, I like it so much I'm going to buy another colour, always gets complimented on the beach

It's thick, double skinned, long in the body and comfortably holds you in.

Look at boden

midlifepisces · 18/05/2024 08:00

I have the Biden tummy control ones. They're good, but they're very hard to get on! I find them comfy and flattering when on though

happystory · 18/05/2024 08:05

Next have some nice ones, did the trick for me!

Somersetcallingme · 18/05/2024 08:07

Pour moi for me - I've got one similar to the amazon one posted ( well I have multiple) - pour moi does fab colours and they are so flattering and fab quality.

SherbsL · 18/05/2024 08:22

Another vote for Boden and agree, they’re tight going on, but then they’re really flattering -especially the ones subtly ruched in the stomach area. Also, I’m a similar height and always go for their longer length option. They last really well too.

I have fig leaves tummy control bikini bottom but it's old so I'm following, could do with a replacement!

spuddy4 · 18/05/2024 08:39

I've recently come back from holiday and the best swimwear I had for tummy control was from F&F at Tesco. The material was like a waffle type and quite thick so it held in my stomach well. I've got some from Pour Moi, next, magisculpt and the Tesco one is the cheapest and the best.

EmmaStone · 18/05/2024 08:58

M&S has a really good selection of swimwear, good pricing too.

Morning all! Okay, afternoon - but I treated myself to a huge lie in then watched Saturday Kitchen and went on the hunt for new hoover bags 🙄🙄.

Loving the suggestions thank you. I don't mind having to hoik myself in as long as it is okay when on.

Last year my teen daughter was hoiking the clips together at the back because I'd borrowed my 5'2 size 14 tankini.

I'm going to check out long body first. I do like the pic of the one from amazon. Rouching seems key.

I shall let you know!

Might not send pics though... Haha.

Have a lovely afternoon.

Ahahaha!!! I clicked on the pic and then wondered why the links weren't working. I thought I was on the app!

Reviews look good and plenty of them, so I'll check this one first.

Thank you!

I have these and get so many compliments and asking where they're from. So good for hoiking up boobs too!

I bought a Miraclesuit after a S&B recommendation and it really is a miracle.

Not cheap so I got mine on Vinted but very happy with it.

JanglingJack · 18/05/2024 23:47

@Disturbia81 thank you, but they're a bit too flowery (?) for me. I'm also the clumsiest person ever - last year I had to get bandaged by barmaid and life guard just for tripping over own feet on way to breakfast 🤣. I can see the extra fabric getting caught anywhere and taking me down!

I'll have a look thank you @AnnaMagnani , took me a while to realise what S&B is 🙄. I bet I'm going to be shocked at prices aren't I?!

OP posts:
JanglingJack · 18/05/2024 23:55

Yep, miracle suit definitely out of price range.

Search brought up magisculpt though, so I'm having a flick through those.

I can't buy anything until the end of the month anyway, plenty of browsing time.

Thanks all!

I got mine new with tags for £30. Yes, definitely out of price range from the shop.
