Birkenstock style without Birkenstock footbed

I've just bought a dress that Birkenstocks would look fab with but I cannot for the life of me get on with that style of sandal. They rip my feet to bits. Has anyone seen or does anyone have a buckle sandal with just a normal sole? I'm searching and nothing is coming up which makes me think it doesn't exist! They can't have the cork/molded style sole, just something flat.

They're really nice but the shape of the footbed would probably hurt. The part thata moulded under your toes. Shame as I really do like them.

I'm going to sound like a right fuss pot but not as flat as salt water. I've had them as they hurt too. I'm a Teva's girl through and through so maybe I should stick with them! Just had a vision of the dress with Birkenstocks when I reality they'll go fine with the leather Teva's I have.

Closer to what I'm after but not keen on the wedge.

Fitflops have dupes for just about every style of Birkenstock, although if anything more £

Birkenstocks do a soft footbed version too than I’m pinning my hopes on. Normal
Birkenstocks are so uncomfortable!

ScrummyDiva2 · 17/05/2024 21:55

Cushionaire on Amazon!

Plump82 · 17/05/2024 23:24

@ScrummyDiva2 Cushionaire look like they might fit the bill! Often to investigate more.

I had a look.at the soft bed Birkenstocks and still think they would hurt as it's the shapes footbed that's the problem for me. Heavenly Feet seem to have the same shape as Birkenstocks.

I'll have a look at flipflop. Forgot about them. Sure my sister got a brand new pair from Vinted last summer.

I have these in metallic green and the footbed is very spongy. You need the ridges to keep the sandals on you feet

CrushingOnRubies · 19/05/2024 11:48

@GettingStuffed oh sorry! I didn't realise that the soles were spongy. I got some other sandals in Moshulu the other day and noticed they had sandals on the style the op was after. Didn't check out anything more specific than that
