So a photo of someone who is relatively flat chested. Also how do you wear a bra with halter necks

The look from the front is flattering in theory but what about the bra straps?! At 32FF there is no way I can go without a bra, ever, and a strapless bra doesn't give the required shape.

I like a halterneck swimsuit for hoicking my tatas. But no, not for me in daily life, no ta.

'with boobs' can mean 'not flat chested' and 'of ample norkage' though.

Lisa always looks nice in the outfits but her taste and body shape are different to mine which might explain why she's a fashion editor and I'm not.

I did get something she recommended once but it made me look like a blob so I returned it.

I have 36FFs and love a halter neck. I wear a decent strapless bra (which I take off the minute I get home anyway). Is it the wording or the fashion suggestion that you don’t like?

It's that the photo shows a woman who is not busty. If it showed a woman of 50+ with a large bust rocking a halter neck, I'd be more inclined to think it was a good look.

Maybe it's me but at 50+ my skinny arms are best kept hidden. I also have a scraggy neck. My boobs aren't huge but they'd need a strapless bra (which is not the most comfortable of bras).

Even if I looked amazing in the halter neck, I would feel uncomfortable and unattractive.

Scarves and cardigan/pashmina might need to be added.

As an aside why do so many people comment about their appearance that they look younger than their age. So much worth seems to be tied up with how youthful we are considered to be. Also totally irrelevant to the question

Probably because people generally tell women they look younger than they are unless they are rude.

Halter necks are great for lifting big boobs, but in my own experience found they had to be hoisted right up to get firm support which caused a deep burning sensation on the back of the neck after a few hours of wear.

The best bra to wear with them … the halter neck bra. M&S used to lead the way with their multi-way bras.
