Early Greys: Jo Hansford vs Josh Wood

I'm in Central London and have heard these two salons consistently recommended by MN'ers.

I've got virgin hair but am getting noticeable silvery greys around the face. I have long (waist/top of bum length brunette hair).

Anyone with a similar colouring and covering-smattering-of-greys-need recommend a specific colourist at either of these salons, please?

Yes, I recommend Jay (Jason Hogan) at Josh Wood. He is a great colorist and will sort you out no problem. He is also a very lovely person.

Honestly, please think ten times before starting to dye your hair. There is NO good way to stop and then grey gracefully. The longer the hair the worse it is.

I've booked Jay and then Mason for a haircut. Jay is however many hundreds and then Mason is £180.

How much do you tip?!

I tip £20 - not sure if it's too much or too little but it's around 10% of what I pay.

Thank you, @yesbutnobut. It's a weird one - like, I'm not going to hand over more than one note, but as a percentage, it's not exact...but then also it's already a huge price! Argh!

Good god why on earth would you pay that much? Is that £180 all in for colour and cut or just £180 for cut?
