Where would you spend £350 gift cards?

For One4All?

I have built up a massive collection of £10 and £20 gift cards over 4 years of birthday and Christmas presents

I know I should treat myself but have a real problem spending money on myself or buying things that's not a gift or for ds!

I don't have any nice clothes, I don't even have nice basics so maybe I should start there?
Since the weather is getting nicer I could plan outfits for the summer? I'm currently 6wk pregnant with dc2
I 30yo, size 12 and 5'6"

Right now I go about in leggings and a baggy T-shirt. Or flared leggings, and a baggy T-shirt. Usually with a pair of converse. That's it. Sometimes I'll stretch to baggy joggers.... seriously, no style whatsoever

What would you buy and where would you spend your gift cards if you were me?
This is a list of where you can spend (there are lots so I'm not short of options!)

I saw someone post this on here a few weeks ago and I really loved it but looking now I can't commit! I don't think I could pull it off. And I don't know where I'd wear it!

I'm very plain/boring/only do nursery run and Asda shop kind of mum

It would be John Lewis for me.

Btw One4All charge a fee on cards older than 18 months so you better check how much you actually have!

IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle · 12/05/2024 22:55

Have you checked they can still be used? Some gift cards expire.

MaggieFS · 12/05/2024 22:57

I "swap" them with myself, so for example I'd use them in Tesco to do my regular grocery shop, but then spend the £350 not spent in Tesco on a weekend away. Holidays are more the thing than clothes or objects.

It's an everyday dress. Wear it to Asda or nursery run.

OatFlatWhiteForMe · 12/05/2024 23:05

I refuse to gift them to anyone because of the fees.

The dress is lovely and can be dressed up or down. I wore a maxi dress from Reiss today with sandals and a cross body bag to go for coffee, pop to Sainsbury’s and pick plants at the garden centre. It’s nice to feel smart but comfortable.

If they're 4 years old and small values, there is probably not much balance left on them due to the fees. Check that out first and get them spent!
