Suggestions for a good clear nail polish?

I've recently been filing my own nails and they look good - I'm happy as I use my hands a lot and nothing I've ever got at a salon lasts.

Anyway, I'm happy to do this but all the clear polishes I use on top, top coats etc, lift?

They go on great. Then the next day they either peel or lift away

Can any recommend a good one for this type of job? I just want a basic manicure with a clear polish. Looks neat and tidy

I've tried a few, the latest being a Sally H one that lifts Envy

I like this. https://www.dior.com/en_gb/beauty/products/dior-nail-glow-Y0997127.html. Lasts ages and doesn't really show when it starts to wear off. Which is a bonus if you find maintaining a colour a bit of a pain. (I do!) But if you do have a colour, Seche Vite seems to extend its life a fair bit.

Ooh! I have just found one! I finally succumbed to subliminal messaging on Instagram and bought the Manicurist Active Glow. It has the merest suggestion of a pink tone, which I think looks pretty. It's also smoothed out my ridged nails and has lasted an impressively long time. It's not cheap, but I'm very pleased with it, so I think it's worth it.

I'm sure I've seen adverts for this on Insta. Is it that dip nail thing?

Always wondered how that works if you're dipping your finger in. Doesn't the skin get covered in the dip too?

This looks really nice! Thank you, think I'll try this

Dior glow is lovely

Not a dip, no - usual application method

The Manicurist one is just like Dior nail glow, but cheaper and lasts much longer.

Yay! Hope you like it 😁

I've been trying to rehab my nails and have been using the Manicurist Active Bright with the Active Shine on top of it. It lasts very well and gives a good clean look. The Active Bright cancels out the yellow in the nails and the Active Shine gives a nice subtle glimmer on top. I feel like it's helping with nail strength too - no chips or rips in my soft, splitty nails and they basically look good for a full week..

Not cheap but I'm finding it to be worth it.

I've just ordered the manicurist 3 set of active colours to try.

I've used perfect formula which has a similar effect but does flake sometimes. They are really good on toes though, neutralises any discoloration and makes your feet look polished
