Not a very glamorous skincare question

I know this is probably a health issue, but I think I will get better advice on this board! I was wearing a bit of an uncomfortable top yesterday and I had a really busy day, sweat was rubbing against my under arm and I've got a bit of a painful rash, I don't think it's anything more sinister than that, I think it's just irritated.

What do you think I should put on it, even the soap was stinging it a bit earlier. I'm quite a hot person... And I run after my son a lot so sweating is inevitable.

You could try sudocream

Get a medicated powder for it.

I keep an aloe vera plant for skin emergencies. You just slit open a leaf and rub the gel over the skin. Very cooling and soothing. It doesn't hold the heat in like a cream. I suppose you could buy aloe vera gel in a tube but I like to have it fresh. Cold compresses might help too. Failing the natural route, try a hydrocortisone product - you can buy low strength over the counter I think in the UK. Don't worry, the strength is so low you won't be thinning your skin with it if you use it for a few days.

I recommend lanacane gel.
