What work trousers for hot weather?

Hi, I am a healthcare worker and need some either black or navy trousers for work. I need to look relatively smart, but also do a lot of moving and handling, and need to be able to wash clothes at 60 degrees. I was thinking of linen smart cargos, but think they'll look creased and not be able to wash at 60? I'm confused as to whether cotton or viscose are a good idea. Advice much appreciated.

Have you seen the smart scrubs?

I wear linen /light cotton drawstring trousers in black for summer work (not healthcare but in and out of care homes which are always at boiling point!)
can buy cheaply at Tesco etc
only nuisance is they do really need ironed. My iron only gets dusted off for these!

Ooo yes someone mentioned these the other day....are they cotton?

What are smart scrubs?

I think they vary a bit on material.

This is always something I struggle with. Never know what trousers to wear in the summer and the linen wide leg just look awful on me.

If you think of the traditional hospital theatre scrubs the smart ones are slightly thicker.
