Can I wear this in my 60s?

Quick one ....... bought this dress today, no changing room available held it up to myself and thought it would come to my knees. Can I wear it to a church event at the weekend?
I'm 65, so I don't want to look age inappropriate.
My normal attire is jeans and walking shoes.
I'm honestly not sure.

You have fab legs. I would like it much better with thick tights and ankle / Chelsea boots and think it would be much more wearable styled that way.

Ah thank you ......that was on my to wear list too. Initially that was what I was going to wear it with, but it was baking hot today so I went for a summer look instead.

My legs are always covered up, so I rarely get a chance to style an outfit around them.
I'm going to go for it on Saturday and wear the dress.

As a postscript, I showed my mother the photo and asked her opinion.
Her reply ......"Haven't seen your legs in years, you ought to wear dresses more often" so even she's in agreement!

Yes I agree.......I wore dresses loads in my twenties and thirties, but wearing dresses more often is now on my to do list!

Omg that jacket has seen me through many a year, its over 10 yrs old.......I tend to hold on to items of clothing that go with anything and this is something I only wear in the summer and its easy to pack away for a trip.

I've had to look inside the jacket and it says George on the label. So I guess I must have bought in Asda many years ago.

I'll be 66 in August........I retired last July from my career as a primary school teacher. I was very active in my role and taught PE multiple times a week.
My pupils really kept me on my toes and kept me young at heart.
Mentally I've never felt my age.

With those legs....definitely!
