Got a work event in the City in London - as in the financial district. It’s an event my company is hosting and I’m running it.
It’s 4-8pm with seminars for the main part and then drinks and networking. I will be running around a lot (not literally) making sure everything is going to plan.
I have a blue and white polka dot shirt dress, about mid length. I am stuck for shoes. I’m about 5’1” so don’t want ballet flats (though will go home in those!) and definitely no trainers.
Doesn’t feel like it will be warm enough for low heeled sandals. Not sure what would be fashionable? Wedge sandals, wedge court shoes, court shoes with a wide heel (seen loads of those), low stiletto? Thinking maybe a light pink would look nice but no idea what style. I have really high pink court shoe style stilettos but I don’t even think I can walk in them anymore. I also don’t want to feel massively over dressed. Plan to pair the dress with a blazer.
