Chunky sandals, not DM’s or Birkenstocks

Looking for some chunky sandals, I love the one’s from Next https://www.next.co.uk/style/SU110527/N47464#N47464?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organicshopping but I bought them last year and they made farting noises when I walked 😬. Can anyone recommend something similar? Not looking for Dr Martens (me feet hate them) or Birkenstocks (not my style).

I’ve got some timberland ones, they are amazingly comfortable. Wore them around Disney world last summer so a lot of walking!

You should take a look at ASRA they do some really lovely chunky sandals (and some a bit out there lol) https://asralondon.com/ you can buy the brand on ASOS, Schuh etc

ASRA London

Fitflops are the most comfortable ever! Lots of styles and price range. I was recommended them by a podiatrist.

I have some from Moda in Pelle in black and also gold. They do other colours. They have a padded sole and are really comfortable. I have walked miles in them.
They are chunky.

Why not birks? I've got 2 pairs of birks that once worn in have lasted 10 years, they're excellent comfy sandals.

Another vote for Timberlands - I have the London Vibe cross strap and also 3 strap versions and they are like walking on clouds. (Had DMs previously which I found so uncomfortable). I can't wait to crack them out again when the weather improves!

I just don’t like them 😬

Love these but sadly not in my price range.

@Lovemusic82 I don’t have a lot of clothes & shoes anymore & don’t buy new things often so when I do buy something I can justify it. Unfortunately comfortable & attractive tends to cost!
