Summer weight jeans/ trousers

I live in jean’s as I hate ironing but started the menopause so they are getting too hot.
Any suggestions for lightweight jeans or trousers. I’ve tried looking for chinos but not sure if they won’t need ironing and not sure how cool they will be.

Linen trousers? I don't iron mine
Tesco and Next have them in at affordable prices.

@Mairzydotes thankyou. I’ve always found linen creased lots but perhaps I should give it another go

The ones I mean are probably linen mix perhaps with viscose, rather than pure linen. Although they are usually in a style that keeps the wearer cool .

@Nevernamedchanged . They come up big. I normally wear a 12 long in M&S jeans. I ordered them and they were ridiculously big, not just a little bit big. I managed to fit into a size 10 long which is normally far too tight for trousers. So size down. I haven't worn them yet so can't comment on wear/washing etc.

I like chinos in the summer, I've got navy and plum. I dont iron them just hang them to dry.

Got some lovely combat trousers from Uniqlo that are like parachute material really lightweight.

Also like a twill trouser, got lovely ones from Toast that I bought off a Facebook selling page.

Try flared jeans, as much looser on the legs (surprised myself as to how much I love my M&S flares, as a size 18) or go for linen and invest in a can of spray starch, as it really helps to avoid the mega creased look.

If you look for chambray trousers they have the look of denim but much lighter weight. Usually not jeans style but more jogger type style or loose and wide.

I have some chinos too, traditional fitted style and also pleated looser

I had some lovely parachute trousers from M and S last year. Super light and didn't need ironing. Worth searching parachute trousers.
