No iron good quality work trousers

i need some decent trousers for work .
they need to be :-
no iron (or very light iron - if it needs ironing then flat front trousers no creases to maintain)
hang well
wash well
a little stretch or elastic would be great but not essential

im really struggling to find a decent pair. I will need at least 3 pairs so cheaper the better, however would go up to £50 for the right pair.

thanks!

M&S do some fab drawstring pleated ones - I have them in grey, black and blue

Let me see if I can get a link

I’ve got several pairs from M&S, if I hang them up straight after washing, they don’t really need ironing.

I have M&S wide leg black trousers with a sewn in crease. Wash well. About £35z

Zoommeout · 02/05/2024 20:15

these look nice, but some of the reviews say they need some “serious ironing”

I have never ironed anything in my life 😂

I wash and flick them out then and hang to dry

I’ve got those tapered ankle ones, never ironed them, ok if you want them perfect then iron them, but the creases don’t show much, these are navy.

OP - Next do some black bootcut trousers, no need to iron if you hang them up with the crease in. They have an elasticated waist but it’s very clever as it’s at the back only so the front still looks smart but you can move with ease! They are the most comfortable trousers I’ve had in a long time.

The Uniqlo smart trousers. They do a straight/tapered leg one and a wide leg one. Both are good. Neither need ironing. Lots of colours. £35ish I think.

@1234512345mummy ooohhhh do you have a link 🤞

The £17.99 cigarette trousers from H&M. Lots of colours. I've never ironed them. Size up.

Another vote for Uniqlo.
