A very specific shape of top

Hi, this might be a bit of a long shot, but I am looking for tops with a very specific shape, which happen to be flattering to my body shape as well as suiting my "style" (if I have such a thing!).

Basically I am short with very big boobs and a bit of a tummy, but slim legs and arms. I like to wear slim or skinny jeans, but need to hide the tum, so can't wear a short top and I like tunics or longline type tops.

What really suits me is a tunic top with a bit of a "tuck"/seam in the front which stops the front of the top from just falling straight down from the boobs and making it look as though I have an even bigger tummy than I do. White Stuff used to do lots like that but don't seem to any more. (I also usually only like floral or other pattern, not plain tops). I attach a picture of one I bought on EBay recently which is just right on except for the fact that I would prefer long or 3/4 sleeves if possible.

I am reduced to constantly trawling through EBay to find second hand White Stuff ones when I can. I have looked all over for similar tops but can't find any anywhere else. If anyone had any ideas...

PS if you think my taste is terrible and this type of top is awful, that's fine, just scroll on by!

You could also a seamstress if they could add that tuck/gather feature to a straight up & down tunic - as it's a loose fitting style that should be doable and a very simple alteration. Maybe take a top you have that is too baggy/ unfitted and see what they suggest.

Just go careful with Roman, I've bought a few jersey tops from there recently and they've washed like rags with all the colour coming out of the black ones. Their quality isn't what it used to be.

I love exactly the same kind of tops! I also find cowl necks work well for me. I haven’t yet found a perfect replacement for Mantaray 😢.

My go tos are Mistral, Isabel London and Weird Fish for some tops (the neckline on their dresses is too high for me). I have one or two things from Roman.

@theDudesmummy definitely have a look on Vinted, I did a search under White Stuff, tunics and size 12 and there are hundreds in the style you like. Most between £2 - £5.

I was going to add weird fish, but PP got there first!
Have bought similar shaped top from Brakeburn

Unfortunately Vinted doesn't work in Ireland! But there are a lot of great tops there, I might get them sent to a friend in England to forward to me! Lots of other great suggestions here too, thanks so much. Pity some of the best ones are short or no sleeved, but it gives me ideas of where to look! Thanks again!

Nothing to help with the short but sleeveless ones can be paired with a light cardigan iv got one to wear with short sleeved dresses because I don’t want my arms out either. Obviously wouldn’t work for the absolute hottest of days
or in winter maybe a thin material long sleeved top under it (depending on how hot you get)

@Riverlee too short, I am afraid!
@Ginkypig I do wear cardigans a lot of the time (because Ireland but also don't like showing my whole (old) arms). But I tend to get too hot, and then when I take the cardi off, too cold!
@GreenMarigold I do actually have some nice things from Isabel London, I had forgotten all about them! Will have a browse.
@exomoon a bit too tenty, I think. I am not big, but my boobs make me look it and if I wear flowy stuff it makes me look like I am big
@Perfectpots that is lovely but a tad too short. I feel best with bum and crotch completely covered
@PoachedScrambledBoiledFried that Julipa top looks very nice, even though it is short sleeved I think I might get it.

Land End have upset me! They used to have a "Tall" range, and because I am short, a nice jersey top in the Tall range was like a tunic for me. They have stopped that range now sadly.

Thanks again everyone!

Just had a thought These are sometimes called Swing tops, so that may help in your searches

Seasalt aren’t cheap but they do have an outlet on EBay.
