Using hair removal device on teenager (Philips Lumea prestige)

Good morning,

My DD is nearly 13 and had her first period recently. I was wondering if it would be safe now to start using Philips Lumea prestige for hair removal. Of course I won't let her use it on her own and will do it for her. The question is if it's safe. Their website says from the age of 18 but I think it means on your own. Any thoughts?

Following as my DD is the same age and with Indian/English heritage has noticeable dark hairs which she is self conscious about.
