New wardrobe where to start/ personal stylist

Hi all. For the last 4 years I’ve been pregnant or breastfeeding (at one point both!) and I now have a 7 month old child. My body shape has changed a lot and I am carrying some extra weight. However rather than waiting until it’s all lost I want to dress this new body I have and make myself more confident.
i am still breastfeeding but I’ve found I don’t require nursing specific clothes as I can always figure out a way to feed.

i just have no idea what shops to start with or sites. I’m now 36 and I just feel like I’m not wanting to be trendy but would like to be well styled/ put together. Where do people tend to buy clothes?
previiusly I shopped in Zara, H&M, Oasis.

my body shape is very big breasts (32H) and short in height. I don’t like to accentuate my breasts.

ive also been considering perhaps starting with a personal stylist? Any suggestions or has anyone done this??

I personally think where to start is to have a look around at the minute and see what you like and don't like. Even if you don't think they'll suit you, just start screenshotting pictures of outfits, styles you like, things that interest you, colours that make you smile.even if you go to a stylist, it can only be a good thing to have an idea of what you like on others and don't.

I would also take an honest look at your diary and day to day schedule, and make a list of what you are doing on each day, and what type of clothes that calls for. There's no point buying 4 sparkly dresses for 1 night out every 3 months, or to have 4 office outfits when you wear comfies to work from home most days.
