It’s been very grey today, but we missed out on the exciting thunderstorms overnight.

New knitted top ( made by me) to celebrate the fact that it’s been sunny two days in a row!!!

Wow, @Sooverthemill, do you just run these things up in literally minutes? I would months to make that (and it would be wonky AF, lol). It’s a lovely top.

Agree @Purplecatshopaholic . @Sooverthemill is so talented. My problem is that a] I'm slow, and b] I'm rubbish at sewing up the seams. I always do a scruffy job. And there are fewer knitting in the round patterns around.

This is what I wore last night for a drinks with friends.
Jeans - Arket, Belt - M&S, pumps - Office, Blouse - River Island and blazer is Vinted.

Wearing my citizens of humans ayla jeans which used to feel incredibly wide and now just feel normal. Strange how your eye changes. It’s in y but not especially warm. Just found out it’s a bank holiday weekend. How did I not know that???

@faffadoodledo actually in the round patterns now exceed seamed patterns ( I mean that are being published now). Can’t remember when I last seamed anything. Happy to suggest a few

Feeling a fraud still being on here. I just keep forgetting to take pics of outfits, and when I do it's something you've all seen before.

The forecast says warm and sunny, but the actual weather is cool and cloudy. We did have a dry bank holiday weekend though, so I suppose I shouldn’t complain.

warm warm warm! Yesterday - somewhat shapeless Toast dress which DD has banned me from wearing again. Today - jeans with toast blouse and vintage cord jacket (1970s?). Hoff trainers both days

Mild weather! It’s not raining! Big meetings today so a &Other Stories linen jacket and trousers with Jigsaw top and boots from Anthropologie.

Outfits for Friday to today. We went to London for a night of Friday so I could take DH to Ottelenghi’s for his birthday lunch. Some very crumpled photos of what I wore then and today. It’s much cooler here - the bloody sea breeze!

I went shopping in Nobody’s Child and bought the linen/ cotton ‘denim’ jacket green vest and the swirly shirt. All for less than the designer shirt I really wanted from Percy Langley!!! Better photos may follow …

But off to the BEACH in a minute! I swam yesterday and hope to today too if the waves allow. I don't like slappy waves; it needs to be calm for scaredy old me!
