What shoes for a pale grey dress?

Going to a wedding evening do next month and have bought a lovely, light grey dress. It's sleeveless with a draped neck line and the hem is just above the knee. It's chiffon and a line style so quite flattering. My first instinct is to go with silver heels but wondering if it might look slightly drab, or whether to go for a complete contrast like an electric blue or bright red?

Can we see the frock?

Sorry don't have a photo. But it's sleeveless, A Line style, and made from chiffon so very light and floaty. The neckline is sort of a plunge but also draped. The overall look is very soft and floaty, the dress comes with a separate under slip so it's not see through.

Baby pink?

Loads of colours look good with pale grey, all of the pinks, navy, black, silver could work if you're looking for ethereal rather than bold, I'd probably steer away from red, orange and gold.

Navy would work well, slightly shiny preferably. But I would look at what you have already because many colours would work including black

Thank you I hadn't thought of pink but I do have some beautiful fuchsia pink heels, very plain but very high, but they're suede. Can you wear suede with chiffon?
