Outfit inspiration x3

I’ve trawled the internet and am going around in circles.

Have three events coming up, one formal (black tie) and two evening but more relaxed.

I usually wear Reiss, French Connection, All Saints, Mint Velvet and the like. But I’m struggling to find anything that works.

I’m late 40’s, size 10 and tall. I don’t like strapless styles. I haven’t done a black tie for years and I need some inspiration please.

What do you think about this Ted Baker dress? It's quite pricey at £350 though.
