Love the elegant Mary jane look with a couple of straps and up until fairly recently, they were all pricey French brands. Now they are everywhere and I'd like a pair for nights out with jeans and a 'nice' top. Can anyone point me in the direction of not too expensive and also comfortable ones? Many of them look like they'll be quite hard and stiff and might shred your feet, or just be very hard and thin underfoot.
Budget, I'm looking at say new look, next, office etc. It seems like the only choices are black, white or red, though I'd like to wear them with black or blue jeans, so possibly black for me. Either flat or small block heel.
