Don't worry if we like
Do you like?

williamsonc · 18/04/2024 13:03

I'm unsure if they look too much like PJs to wear outside

That outfit looks like the sort of thing you put on to go and get your washing out of the communal uni laundry room at 10pm.

Geebray · 18/04/2024 13:37

I know this is not the point but DEAR GOD THAT VASE IS GIVING ME NIGHTMARES!!! Like a sort of eyeless, flower headed Medusa.

sloooooopjonb · 18/04/2024 13:40

They proper look like PJs, I've seen others that look better that are just patterned trousers.

I've decided it's one to leave to the youngens I think.

Appalonia · 18/04/2024 13:41

I love them! Not stripy ones, but with a striking pattern. I'm busty up top so they balance me out nicely. And if they have an elasticated waist they're very forgiving!

SlowBurn · 18/04/2024 13:46

Bad. Only passable round the house.

Mercurial123 · 18/04/2024 14:55

Yes, I like them. They are poorly styled in the photo.

WappityWabbit · 18/04/2024 14:57

Yes, I wear stuff like this all the time although most of mine have bold patterns and lots of colour. Plus I make them myself. ☺️

CatrionaCat · 18/04/2024 14:57

I've seen a couple out and about recently. I did think they were pyjamas. If it becomes a major trend, I will embrace it, because at least they look comfortable!

MermaidEyes · 18/04/2024 15:09

I've seen some and they look really good, especially the satin shirt and bottoms that look like a co-ord set in bright patterns and colours. I follow one influencer who recently wore a set on holiday and it looked great on her. I don't think the above is styled particularly well with the clunky jumper tbh.

AmaryllisChorus · 18/04/2024 15:15

Is this the same influencer who paired far too long pale jeans with a near-miss pale blue blazer? I don't get the appeal of their fashion sense. I'd love to follow a mid-sized fashion influencer as they are rare, but one with an eye for shape and colour!

PeaceOnThePorch · 18/04/2024 15:24

They look awful on her, I don’t think the jumper is helping, she just looks like a chunky block.

LolaSmiles · 18/04/2024 15:27

I don't like that style or outfit. I also don't like the going out in nightwear look.

A lightweight wide leg pair of spring/summer fabric trousers can he comfortable and stylish though.

SlowBurn · 18/04/2024 15:27

It does look like the same influencer as the one in the jeans that didn’t fit on the waist or thighs. The jeans looked worse tbh.

Maybe OP is the influencer and needs style advice.

Whiskeyandkittens · 18/04/2024 15:30

Those ones really don't go with that jumper! Maybe with a different top they'd look less like pyjamas, but this looks like something I'd chuck on to take the bins out.

CormorantStrikesBack · 18/04/2024 15:36

I am lusting after the Toast checked cotton trousers which are a bit PJ like.

henlake7 · 18/04/2024 17:00

yup, very badly styled....looks like a 'slobbing round the house' outfit!
I do like the trousers though. Just maybe not with a bright red sweatshirt.

TextureSeeker · 18/04/2024 17:03

I saw someone on tiktok earlier 'styling' some gingham ones. I wasn't a fan. Too pyjama like for me. Maybe OK if you live in area where people don't go out in their pj's but I live somewhere where it isn't unusual to see someone in the supermarket in their pyjamas and it isn't a club I'd be in a hurry to join.

InAMillion · 18/04/2024 18:26

They're by a company called Toms and mainly worn to college or uni or around the house

Onetiredbeing · 18/04/2024 18:28

Those types of pants go perfectly with oversized sweaters and that entire outfit needs to be banned. They look sloppy, untidy and makes everyone just look 2x their size.

I see lots of my uni students wearing them with baggy sweatshirts.

TheChosenTwo · 18/04/2024 18:40

They look very much like pyjamas to me. A no no for leaving the house in!

JeysusH · 18/04/2024 18:44

Whenever anyone links to a fashion influencer, I always think,

Why the fuck am I bothering with anything. I'll just chuck any old shit on and become an influencer.

They always look utterly shite. Even the super-popular ones. Shit.
