they are shite and fall apart in 2wks

get the scrubby glove ones instead

RubySlippers · 31/03/2008 11:23

they just don't work IME

also, the teeniest squirt of shower gel turns into a raging torrent of foam which takes an age to shower off

zippitippitoes · 31/03/2008 11:23

i am only just getting into this beauty stuff

too late obvs

but what are they supposed to do

and sanex is what iw as using

they are meant to be gently exfoliating
gloves are better

TsarChasm · 31/03/2008 11:37

Ooh they give me the heebie-jeebies. Feels like washing yourself with a handful of old wet tights.

zippitippitoes · 31/03/2008 11:49

nad why do we want to exfoliate

OP posts:
EffiePerine · 31/03/2008 11:50

exfoliating good as prompts skin to renew itself or summat

gloves much better (though they can be a bit harsh)

bran · 31/03/2008 11:52

I've used one for years. Mine don't fall apart (but then I paid more than 50p).

I guess they're bad for the environment because they're plastic, but on the other hand they can be washed properly so last for ages. On the other hand I use far less shower gel so that's good for the environment.

I have no cellulite, which may not be down to the scrubby thing at all, but I just thought I'd mention it. (I did have a touch of cellulite under my bum until recently, but it's gone since wearing Earth boots.)

I've just noticed that I have used "on the other hand" twice. I was hoping to keep it quiet that I have 3 hands. I guess the cat's out of the bag now.
