Summer shoes when you don’t like sandals?

I don’t like showing my toes. They aren’t bad, I have pedicures and they are painted. It I just don’t like toes on show. If you don’t want to wear trainers, what would you suggest? I’ve been looking at low heel close toe wedges but I wonder if there is something else? This is the type of thing I’ve been looking at.

I've seen at lot of women wearing FitFlop Cova or similar.

Fisherman style sandals are a bit airier but still cover the toes

I was going to suggest closed toe espadrilles ( if you live near an original factory shop they have M&S seconds. I bought a pair last year as they were marked a 5 when they were a 6 for a tenner and they have some this year.

Menorcan sandals tend to have an opening at the end but don’t actually show the toes in most styles. They are a similar look to espadrilles.
Birkenstock Bostons (or copies) are still popular if that works with your style.

Have you tried Vivaia shoes, they advertise heavily on FB and Insta. I have several pairs. Great for summer, as they are breathable and machine washable.

Be careful of those Vivaia ones! I got a pair and they rubbed my heels so badly they were bleeding for days. They are no good to me as summer shoes as I need to be able to wear summer shoes without socks.
