I wonder if anybody has any ideas that might help. I'm about 5'2" and size 14. I always feel I have lots of different body parts from other people eg small shoulders, large breasts, big bum, small wrists. I am trapped in a boring uniform of trousers and tops.

I'm envisaging you as resembling a Picasso portrait, but I suspect you have the standard head, shoulders, knees and toes arrangement that most of us have!😀
What would you really like to wear? What colours and what styles do you like? Even trousers and tops can vary from polyester to natural fabrics, print to plain, beige to colourful. What do you prefer and what changes would you like to make?

There is something of a Picasso about me. I don't like tight things. I like blue, greeen, purple maybe?

A brave attempt! Im very much an everyday person, not a going out person. The purple jacket thing would swamp me I fear.

Community Clothing?

Community Clothing dresses
Community Clothing jackets
Community Clothing denim skirt

There are mini and maxi denim skirts which are nice too. They do trousers and knitwear too.

How can anyone be only one type of person?

Even someone housebound (I have nonagenarian relatives) might dress up when people come to visit them. Or don scruffy clothes to sit on the threshold of the garden.

Anyway - as posters won’t know which brands you’re familiar with, or regularly buy from, it would be helpful to know which sites (in their entirety) appeal to you.

What's wrong with trousers and tops? I live in jeans and tops (jumpers in winter, loose linen tops in summer), and am perfectly happy with this arrangement. (I have 'nice' tops and shoes to dress the jeans if need be).

Do you want nicer trousers and tops, or something different like (gulp) skirts, high heeled shoes - what?

Also, does your bra fit you properly? A well fitting bra can make all the difference.

You're obviously bored of what you usually wear. Do you have any ideas of how you'd like to change it? Eg do you want to look smarter, wear skirts and dresses, be more colourful? Try to identify what is it you don't like about your current clothes.

I have one tip based on what you've already said. Jewellery can make an outfit look more interesting. If you're small-boned like you say, go for delicate items, nothing too chunky that would swamp you.

I probably shouldn't be browsing MN when I am not wearing my prescription glasses but I originally thought you were looking for an oodie!
