Shoes/boots with a very slim ankle

I often wear sling backs as although the front of my feet are wide and flat my ankle is tiny

And in closed shoes and boots it slides up and down - I have tried those stick in suede things with very little success

Any suggestions for brands to try

Following as skinny ankles are the bane of my life (or of only I had no other problems than that, I'd have found the perfect shoes by now!).

I like boots but can't wear Chelsea boots / DMs although I'd like to.

A lot of it is to do with trouser length too

That shift as you step is so annoying (never mind blister inducing)

I had the perfect summer shoe with earth spirit but they changed their sizing before going bust!!

I always get ankle boots with laces for this reason! I hate my skinny ankles and chicken legs😂
