Itchy Head and Sulphate Free Shampoo

I have recently moved to a sulphate free shampoo (L'Oreal Paris Elvive Glycolic) and it has made my head itch with flakiness. The shampoo and conditioner are making my hair itself in the best condition it has ever been so I want to stick with it. Is there a reason that my head it getting itchy and, other than change back to a shampoo with sulphates in, what can I do to help? Any advice would be really helpful :)

Yeah I noticed the same thing tbh and haven't found a solution, the SLS free shampoo has meant I can go longer between washes though so it does feel like its worth some flakyness.

Could it be the glycolic acid? It is an exfoliant. Glycolic makes my skin itch a bit. So possibly try a different sulphate free shampoo.

I'd try a different shampoo, like aveeno clarifying shampoo apple cider vinegar. keep the conditioner as you don't put it on your scalp anyway
