Sweaty Betty Explorer Trousers Dupe

Has anyone found a decent dupe of the SB Explorer Trousers? I love the fabric (drapes well, super comfy, doesn’t knee, dries quickly), the cut but hate the price tag (£98 now)! I have been looking on Vinted at used pairs and in the sale, but keep missing them. I wondered if anyone had found a decent dupe yet?

I’m interested too, probably not helpful but there are jumpsuits with vest and T-shirt tops for £59.99 in the sale currently. I am with you on the fabric and would like trousers too but £98 is too much.

I got the vest jumpsuit for recent holiday and was so comfy and looked good on. Want the trousers and shorts now though, and a whopping discount code 😄🤞

The reviews seem to suggest that people buy the jumpsuit and then cut the vest top off to make trousers. That’s so clever!

I have bought the jumpsuit in the sale! I have the SB dress in the same material and it’s great, so hoping the jumpsuit isn’t too clingy.

It would be for me, I have no creative ability. But 2 of the reviews said they had chopped the top off.

I'm going to try them at SB soon for sizing but I think that they look like 'magic trousers' that are available in lots of cheap shops and on the internet so I will see if I think they are worth the price. What's so remarkable about them? They look v plain to me (no offense) and expensive is true!

Hi what’s the sizing like as I really quite like a couple of the pairs I’ve seen on the site you linked.

im a 16 but sometimes depending on the brand they are a bit tight but almost always if I size up from a 16 they are too big.

These are cuffed, whereas the SB aren’t.

They are very dull but they suit me! U have wide hips and they skim nicely without having pockets that gape like many trousers. I can wear them with flats or boots for work and look reasonably smart for “no meeting” office days. They look good with trainers. I don’t really wear jeans as I find stiff waistbands uncomfortable, but don’t want to wear leggings for casual wear either. They are amazing for travelling as they are lightweight and dry easily.

I find they are quite generous. When I’ve been a 14-16 a large has been fine for me. Now I’m a 12-14 the large is too big and I need to size down to a medium, but the price has gone up since I last bought, hence me asking on here.

@Ginkypig I don't know about that site sorry- they are just an example of similar I have bought which look very similar to SB explorers.

If you are on Facebook, there's a group for buying and selling used sweaty Betty clothes - might be worth joining, I'm sure I've seen explorer trousers on recently.
