Olaplex 3- is it good for highlighted and dry, dull hair. I need help!

Last year a hairdresser over highlighted my hair. The ends are now a frizzy mess. Nothing I have tried has helped. Am wondering whether something like olaplex 3 will help stop it looking like Candy floss straw? Or something else?
Elastizer doesn’t help- not does lots of conditioner.
I no longer go to the above hairdresser .

I adore redken bond shampoo and conditioner. My hairdresser recommends it. Not odlaplex

The only thing I found to help was to stop colouring my hair, cut off the dead ends, try to limit using heat products - the Dyson air wrap much gentler. My hair has gone from straw like to shiny and glossy over a period of 1-2 years. Takes time but I don’t think there’s any product that can really fix token damaged hair like that. You’ve just got to start again.

i’m so annoyed with it. I suspect part of the problem might be that as I get older it is getting a wave. Always used to be dead straight. I have no idea how to handle it .

Similar situation and the only remedy was an extensive hair cut.

K18 is meant to repair damaged hair from the inside, not just coat it like other products.

I agree with others that cutting it off is the better way to sort it.

However, olaplex 3 should help. But personally I find it too much if I use it all the time. Hair becomes dry again. Olaplex 6 which is a leave in is better, imo.

K18 is meant to be better than olaplex and redeem have a similar range which is also meant to be good.

Be careful if you are using anything with protein in, too much and hair became dry and brittle.
