Could you share with me when whether it was a facelift or a mini facelift and where and what price? Would really appreciate it as I am thinking of going abroad otherwise...

Hey,

Deepplane facelifts cost around £17-£25k

CoolShoeshine · 19/04/2024 19:21

Spire hospitals usually have prices on their website

Catblack87 · 19/04/2024 19:26

Look at Dr Georgios Orfaniotis London and Dr Dominic Bray. Results are phenomenal. It is extra for added procedures so for example you had a combined deep face and neck lift that would cost £27,000 but if you wanted an upper blepharoplasty to get rid of excess skin on eyes that’s an extra £5,000, then you may need a fat transfer for lost volume another £5,000. But you do not want to cheap out on your face, it is your face and you cannot hide it. Also revision surgery is alot more. You need to go to the best to begin with. Make sure you read real self reviews, reach out to patients and look at comments on their instagrams etc.

Catblack87 · 19/04/2024 19:28

P.s only get a deep plane facelift so the underneath fat and muscles are re positioned. A skin only facelift is pointless hence why they are cheap and give that pulled back look. All your fat pads and muscles need repositioning to a more youthful appearance than the outer skin is not pulled at all, the only thing they do with the outer skin is trim away excess.

Wow. This results are amazing

pinkdays · 20/04/2024 23:43

55k for a facelift? Thats top top end

LaineyGleeson · 24/06/2024 19:55

That’s a lot

F349 · 07/12/2024 21:12

Would love to hear from someone who had surgery with Dr Georgios Orfaniotis or Dr Dominic Bray

BeCalmPlayer · 23/12/2024 14:49

Ditto! I am also thinking of getting a facelift but with Georgios ..he only does deep plane facelifts which is quite a long procedure

F349 · 23/12/2024 18:17

@BeCalmPlayer Did you have a consultation with him already? How many did you see before deciding?

BeCalmPlayer · 24/12/2024 21:45

I had a free video consultation with Mr Yapa from the cadagon clinic . I wasn't sure if l needed a mini, Smas or Deep plane facelift. He convinced me of the latter. It was than a question of who does a lot of deep plane facelifts..Mr Orfanidis does . I Sent my pics thru to his secretary. They gave me a quote for a face andneck lift and upper eye lid operation. I'm pretty much decided but will do some extra research...looking at Tunic Tiryaki..also at the cadogon but will probably go for Mr Orfanidis

ArianaGrandSlay · 25/12/2024 07:56

Two of the doctors being mentioned above are not on the GMC specialist register and therefore have not completed consultant training.

There is no way on gods earth I would let them operate on me privately- let alone my face.

F349 · 25/12/2024 11:44

@ArianaGrandSlay Thank you for flagging this. Is it possible to know who they are please? Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄

ArianaGrandSlay · 25/12/2024 14:04

Put the names into the GMC register and you will see who are on the specialist register as plastic surgeons (so can call themselves consultants).
I'm a consultant surgeon and having spent 20 years training I can't believe that the public can be misled like this.
Similarly Miss/Mr should only be used if they have MRCS/FRCS

Careful of that clinic. I swear that was the one I visited (for a completely different reason) some time ago and the chap was so vile I actually left in tears.

BeCalmPlayer · 26/12/2024 18:09

Agree re GMC l always check there first, it's super important.

F349 · 01/01/2025 13:44

Did any of you by any chance have CO2 laser? I would like to have it done to improve my skin texture but I don’t know where to go to have it. Thanks xx

BeCalmPlayer · 13/01/2025 15:46

Still researching plastic surgeons for a Facelift, has anyone had any experience with Kshem Yapa? Thanls

F349 · 13/01/2025 17:17

No sorry but I scheduled a consultation with G.Orfaniotis in Feb

BeCalmPlayer · 14/01/2025 13:31

I got 2 prices for the deep plane Facelift and Mr Yapa is considerably cheaper and appears very qualified. Guess i should go and see both

LadyDancealot · 11/04/2025 07:54

@ArianaGrandSlay I’m late to the party on this plus have already had my lift but looking at the GMC register I can see two of the surgeons on the Special Register, only one not - am I looking in right place? They have SR under their listing and a note about their consultant rights. Does this mean they’re ‘qualified’ in plastics or should I be checking somewhere else? To this point, I’d also suggest the surgeon’s operating hospital is checked on the CQC site. That was a bit of an eye opener for me.
