Bottomless brunch and day drinking in York

I’m going on a hen do next weekend, the weather is a bit hit and miss at the moment so for something like day drinking my usual outfit of midi/maxi dress plus low/ flat sandals is probably not going to be possible.

I have no idea! I’m mid 40s, size 12, not trainers for me. Can anyone give me any inspiration?

For York this time of year I would do a dressy blazer with a nice top and leggings or trousers, and chunky flat form sandals - definitely no heels with those cobbles!

Day drinking in York? Literally anything goes. I’ve seen it all.

I live in York and there's a lot of cobblestones and York stone paving which can be tricky to walk on so definitely no heels.
York has all sorts of people/styles in town, you can basically wear anything, jeans and a nice top with a jacket, dresses, skirts but definitely wear flat shoes or at least something you can walk in all day.
Have you got any wedges, flatforms or flat slingbacks?
You won't look out of place whatever you wear.
After the bottomless brunch you won't even care what you look like 🤭

Thank you, I think I need to look into these flat form sandals. Was thinking jeans and blazer too Xxx
