Can a pair of cropped cords ever look 'chic'

I mean Im not very chic to be honest would like to be if I possibly could

I found some seasalt cream cropped cords in the charity this morning, 3 quid. Cant go wrong.

Ideal for just slobbing about/cycling/walking around, but if I wanted to upchic them, what would I wear with them?

DMs and a chunky cardigan? Btw, I’m older too so don’t believe a word I write!

There's a thread in style & beauty called 'what are you wearing today?' or similar, and there's one poster on there who I've seen wear cropped cords a few times, she always looks fab. Might be worth having a check on there for ideas?

Oh good point, I have a cropped chunky black cardie (also charity shop find) and perhaps with a big black belt and patent chunky shoes/brogues or something? I would have to wear a blouse/shirt under the cardie, it doesnt do up all the way and Ive got a muffin top

Hide the muffin and you will look fabulous! I always hide my muffin. 😆
