Help! Dress and jacket Buckingham Palace

Wondering if anyone can help? My DD has completed her DoE Gold and has an invite to the Palace! All very exciting,.but I live in fear of what to wear.

I need to find an outfit for May. I have huge boobs, size 16-18. I'd like a dress (stretchy material is better) and I'm thinking I need a jacket? I am clueless, work outside and hate shopping. It's all outside and mostly on grass. I don't do high heels but can do wedges?

I've wasted a few hours today and I'm not really going wow! Wondered if anyone out there had any inspiration. Willing to spend up to £125 for the dress.

I'd be very grateful if anyone has any ideas!

I went with my son for his DofE gold at the palace.

If it helps, the vast majority of parents were not dressed up. It was definitely a smart casual vibe. I wore coated skinnies and a printed coat (it was a couple of years ago when skinny jeans were still trendy ish).

There should be a dress code mentioned in the letter or google if not. You should wear a jacket and be smartish I believe but I'd check.

I went for an event last month and don't have any formal clothes at all, so just wore a pair of smart-ish trousers and a good cardigan and was fine.

Did you go ? We went Friday afternoon the weather was glorious , I went in a summer dress and hunted down a blazer which I carried about all day 🤣

I was there last Friday as well. I wore a smart summer dress and a blazer, which is what most women wore. A few of the younger girls had short dresses and high heels, but I would say 90% of the mums wore a long summer dress and flats or low heels

I was thinking about all these threads, last week, when the garden parties were on.

I hope everyone had a great time - so lucky with the weather Smile

I wore my white Nikes under my summer dress 🤣
