Anyone tried Vivaia shoe brand?

Curious, they look comfy and nice for spring/summer. Does anyone have any experience?

Also are they true to size? I am a 4.5 so tricky sometimes with half sized feet!

The name made me think of another Italian (I think, it may very well be Dutch) shoe brand that's very similar named Via Vai and the shoes look to be knock offs of the American brand Rothy's, which all feels a bit sus. I suspect it's Chinese copies of those with a bit of greenwashing marketing, and likely shipping from China especially considering the delivery times. Doesn't mean they're terrible or it's a scam but you can probably find the same shoes for less on the big Chinese marketplaces.

I have a pair - successfully influenced by all the social media ads - and found them slightly on the small side.

Snoodleberry · 05/04/2024 23:32

I’ve had three pairs. Have narrow feet and the pointy ones are perfect for me. I chuck mine in the washing machine quite often to freshen them up. Have a job that is +12 hours on my feet on some days, and these shoes are amazing.

Thanks for your replies! My feet are quite wide ….small and wide 😂
they do look good and I love the idea of being able to wash them.
im tempted x

I’ve got the pointy flats and they actually fit and are really comfy, no squashed toes at all, as long as I’m standing still! When I actually wear them out they rip my heels to shreds. Currently still in pain from wearing to a quick dash to supermarket and back home. Really disappointed as thought they were actually pointy flats I would be able to wear!

Have 2 pairs , ordered same size but1 too big & 1 too small, was annoying to send back & change sizes.

ecuse · 06/04/2024 09:33

Have 6 pairs I adore them. So comfy and I am always being complimented on them.

SudokuMania · 06/04/2024 09:34

You may have to pay import tax/customs duty on the shoes.

Expo23 · 06/04/2024 14:35

I have the pointy flats and the wedges. They suit my foot shape which seems to be the thing. I struggle with flats but these are soft across the toe so don't pull or dig when walking and don't rub. However, a PP does find they rub so it must really depend. Being able to wash them is great for summer wear if going no tights/socks.
The wedges are the comfiest pair of 'heels' I have worn. I too, do long days, 10k average steps, sometimes have to run (in a more progressive career I would wear trainers) and they are fab for that.

Medee · 14/06/2024 21:16

How does their sizing work? I’ve clicked 6.5 which they have equating to a EU 40.5, but I’m sure it’s usually a 39.

Intothevalley · 14/06/2024 21:18

I have average width, size 5.5 (39) feet and have the pointed toe ones. They're absolutely brutal and I've never worn them for more than half an hour - maybe I need to wear them in, but I haven't summoned the courage to yet¡

Tired of seeing the adverts (there’s one now to the right of this thread!) knowing they’re only available from outside the UK.

Unless anyone knows of a UK stockist?
