Shops selling out of items so quickly...!

I have noticed recently that the online shops I like seem to run out of stock very quickly.

This means there is little chance to think if you want something - within 24h often it's sold out.

I don't think I've ever experienced this prior to this year.

Is this some sort of new sales tactic, to encourage panic buying in case items run out? Or are they doing very small runs of lines?

It's particularly annoying given the higher prices of some brands, as I really do need to put some thought into my spending nowadays!

Has anyone else noticed this?

It's happened to me recently on Sezane, Boden, Mint Velvet, H&M etc.

I think that in general less stock is being produced in order to cut down on waste

I've been looking online for swimwear for my summer holiday, everything I like is sold out in my size. Is it because everything is sitting on container ships delayed due to the wars in the Middle East, am I too late to the market? Should II have been looking back in January? Or am I too early? Maybe shops don't stock swimwear until May time?

I am finding the same with clothes for DC, I see something I like, add it to my wish list and the next day it's sold out in their sizes...

I’d say you might still be a little early. Even in physical shops I haven’t really seen any swimwear yet
