American eagle might be worth a look

I love the bootbarn website, it ships to the UK.

They've loads of lovely things I can't afford but love looking at.

Also @PandaKunKun if you don't mind me asking, what age are you? I'm 35 but I love the boho look, not hippy/spiritual look, but quirky boho look, but I'm not confident enough (yet!) To pull it off, I feel like I'd look older somehow? X

PandaKunKun · 05/04/2024 05:59

I am in my early 50s @Lwrenn, although I look much younger, always have. Up until very recently I literally dressed only in black, all black. Since leaving my previous job I have lost a lot of weight and I don't recognise myself wearing black clothes anymore. I am tentatively starting to embrace colour and more casual looks, but I notice that whatever I buy needs to be of high quality, even (or especially) if it has that sort of worn-in effect.

There is a woman on married at first sight Australia, a participant, named Andrea who is early 50s and has the most beautiful style. If you haven't seen the show, have a wee look at her style, her dresses are stunning.
I'm hoping to channel her style somehow!

I've gained loads of weight which I'm trying to lose, but hopefully when I have, somehow, I'll be in a situation to wear clothes I enjoy instead of black and slouchy 😂

American Vintage? They tend to do classic shapes in multiple colours...

Wrap London is similar. I am wary of Free People tops are pretty thin and don't last

PandaKunKun · 05/04/2024 09:05

You're right, Wrap London is pretty close to what I'm after. The prices though...
What are their sizes like?

Ninety Percent

Nitgel · 05/04/2024 09:22

not sure on wrap sizing, things I have tried have come up smaller, they have a shop in Westbourne Grove is you're near London.
