Is there such thing as a non-see through white t-shirt?

Ordered a multi pack of t-shirts from Next. Really good value. Nice thickness. But the white one - of course you can see through it!

Is there anywhere that does a non-see through t-shirt, that isn't linen?

Aren't you wearing a flesh-coloured bra?

Ive had the same issue with Next & they end up going shapeless after a few washes.
Looked in my local M&S, they didn't look much better.
After meticulous research and looking at various reviews I've just ordered this from Cos

It's 290gsm cotton whereas most cheaper tees are about 150gsm.

Hoping at that price it's not see through!

You need to go off fashion brands, cotton traders and fruit of the loom aren't see though

I wear H & M Microfibres ones and size up, so they're not too 'stretched' but still fitted. They're a really bright white with a flattering round neck, not the strangulation kind.

The Jigsaw ones are also good, but three times the price!

Uniqlo U T-shirts ,Arket heavyweight, both good and non see through

You need a flesh coloured bra op. I know it seems a bit mad but white under white shows through.

Yes, I am wearing a flesh coloured bra. I don't have white bras.

Uniqlo are great. I gave the thicker airism ones.
Also a darker skin tone bra helps - less visible than light beige tone if you have Caucasian skin.

I second Uniqlo U. I’m a size 10 and the medium is a nice not too tight fit

Wear a red bra, honestly it doesn't show through.

The COS one is excellent. A comfortable fit, a nice neckline (not 'strangly' or milkmaid low), washes beautifully and can be dressed up. A perfect basic tbh

Next do a premium heavyweight white tshirt (£18 I think) that definitely isn’t see through.

The best one I've had is that Cos one. Absolutely not see through and very long lasting.

Primark do some excellent tee-shirts as part of their Edit (aka posh) range. Really thick and soft, 100% cotton, and only £12.

Uniqlo would be my other choice.

If a bra shows through any sort of top, all it means is that you have a bra on! Something most of us wear most of the time, it is not a huge secret.

l think there’s a huge difference between the outline showing (shadow) and a bra “screaming” at you in appearance when you look at someone. I wont wear 50 shades of beige though(!) it just looks a dirty colour.

I didn't mention bras. I'm more interested in a white t shirt that doesn't show the boundary between skin and trousers/leggings waistband.

My white T-shirts are Superdry (most of my T-shirts are, come to that) and they're not at all see through.

Yes I've heard that! Might get one, would be fun to have a red bra anyway 👙 😄

I mainly want a white t shirt that doesn't show the difference between flesh and trouser-skirt top. Lots of great suggestions here, thanks.

Another vote for Uniqlo and also Cos - both not see through!

As a pp red bra and you'll not see anything.

Nude pure cotton vest makes everything non see through and more expensive looking.

Sainsbury Tu sell three packs black white and nude.

Makes me too hot 😄 A good idea for winter though.
