Wellies for wide calves

Ok not stylish or beautiful but I’m looking for a pair of wellies but have wide calves (I’m a size 18-20).

They don’t need to be especially hard wearing but I don’t want fashion ones. I want them for walks on the beach, muddy parks etc. We’re going in a break to north wales and I have a raincoat ready and think wellies may well be needed!

I just want some that are comfy, easy to get on and non-slip. Ideally less than £50.

I have wire valves and prefer wellies that are not full length, mid-calf or short wellies.

That’s what I was going to suggest.

so much easier to take off too.

Fitflop short here...stop just under widest part of calf on me...so long enough to work in puddles Also comfy... Decathlon have a tall pair with a buckle on the side but not as comfortable

Thanks, I’m only 5ft 3 and find mid calf cuts off my legs absolutely makes me look weird (I’ve got a long torso) and worried short ones wouldn’t cover me for puddles etc.

Jileon boots are amazing.

I'm on my third pair of Muck Boots. I wear them all winter for dog walking and they last 3/4 years. They are neoprene round the calves so a bit more forgiving for wider legs. A bit more than your budget but worth it if you will wear them lots.
