Anyone up for shopping- another wedding guest one…

Afternoon all,

I am seeking help from all of you seasoned style gurus! I have two weddings to attend this year - but the same bride, one in UK and one abroad. (Multi ethnic couple rather than designation wedding. They won’t be particularly formal - the UK one will be outside unless raining; other one may be slightly more formal. I live in lounge wear or jeans……

Weather: completely unclear. Due to times of year, both could be warm and sunny, both are equally likely to be cold, windy and rainy. I feel the cold.

Me: late forties, 5’6, size 8/10, pretty fit/toned with mum tum. Measurements , 32 28 34 I would guess. Maybe less. Messy salt and pepper fair, never wear make up. Brown hair, blue eyes, fair skin.

Outfit: does not have to be a frock! Strong colours suit me - purples, dark /bright pinks/ reds/ electric blue, emerald green. But flexible. Not keen on formal but open to other patterns or plain also. Not sleeveless. I suit v neck, scoop, cowl and roll neck but not crew. I love vintage - 30s, 40s, 50s etc but not places like Joanie or Hells Bunny, too naff.

Issues: Needs to be flexible for all weather options. Sensory issues which rules out heels, linen, wool etc. Prefer natural fabrics - cotton, silk, bamboo and so on but some of the new recycled synthetics ok. I like outfits that look expensive : Reiss, Jigsaw, Hobbs, Cos, And Other Stories etc. Budget is more ASOS/ Boohoo which does not fill me with joy! Totally open to vinted/ eBay.

If anyone can advise me I would be eternally grateful. Thank you.

Thank you both.

Neither are quite right - love the material of the first, but black and white both drain me.
And whilst I love some Anthropologie things (and had forgotten about them so will look now!) - this one is too fussy, too floraly and I can’t be doing with puff sleeves. but really appreciate it.

I was thinking that this would work for any weather and could get a pashmina or a jacket to go over the top in case it’s cold.
