What do wedding evening guests wear these days?

Got an invite to a wedding in the early summer but I can only attend the evening reception. Do you dress up like you do for the day? If not, what do you wear?

Not been to a wedding since pre-covid and I hate dresses even more these days!

I wore this last week with heels. I reckowned it wasn’t too day like but still weddingy and blended in well x

I think evening reception clothes are what you'd wear to a party. Whereas all day wedding is more formal.
If that makes sense....?

@Answersunknown that's a possibility thank you. I like the length and the shape would probably suit me.

I'd wear a similar dress to what I'd wear to a full wedding minus the fascinator or hat.
