How do you ‘smell nice’? Best smelling toiletries?

All our clothes are washed in Fairy. We use the M&S Apothecary diffusers and candles round the house and I also have a moisturiser from this range which reminds me of spas. Nonetheless I still feel like I don’t ‘smell’ of anything nice!

What moisturisers/lotions or body sprays do you use and where from?

Delina perfume or body cream

My daughter had sol de janiero and it smelled lovely. I bought some for myself.

I really like some of the Zara perfumes. Some of the vanilla ones are quite sweet if that's your thing. I prefer a laconic powdery scent usually but the Bohemian Oud is really nice. A good shampoo & conditioner, I use Redken all soft. A nice milky/creamy body lotion or Avon dry oil spray after showering. I prefer an almond or coconut scent for body creams. And I wash my clothes with Tallow & Ash 'Laundry Day' washing liquid.

Ooh I love Bohemian Oud!

Molton brown heavenly gingerly is a gorgeous, clean smell. You can buy the body wash, lotion and perfume and if you layer it, it lasts all day. It can be pricy, but I buy mine on QVC, they always have special offers on and its much cheaper than the shops. Their firey pink pepper is also lovely.

Penhaligons Halfeti - shower gel, body lotion and perfume! Obviously not every day as it costs an absolute fortune so for every day I like to use the matching Bath and Body Works sets (from Next) - vanilla bean at the moment. Although as others have said, the Zara perfumes smell amazing! I like the vanilla ones again or especially Red Temptation (just bought the shimmering body oil)

Trouble with Penhaligons is you can smell it from 50 paces.

@AngryLikeHades OOOOH! do tell which Chanel No. 5 dupe please!

It's a very good dupe, I wouldn't bother with a bad one:
"Vogue by Milton Lloyd".
It's easily bought from Amazon (check the reviews) and the scent is quality and multi layered. It lasts a long time and I use heavily and get a year's use out if a bottle that cost me £3.50 (more on amazon, I buy it from my local indoor market). I use it everyday and love it... I've bought loads of bottles for future use.
Fragrantica.com gives it's own analysis.

@AngryLikeHades I am currently slobbing on the sofa, wrapped in a fragrant cloud of Vogue. It is truly lovely! thank you! 💖

I bought a sample set from Penhaligons , but every single one was a No for me .
I tested one on the shop but couldn't try more than this as its too much an overload.
(I hated the one I tried too)

In the laundry I use Ecover Apple Blossom and Almond Fabric Conditioner
A basic Sainsbury Non Bio powder for standard cleaning
Apple Blossom and Fresia laundry liquid for dark wash or if I want the nice scent .
Favourite shower gel is Molton Brown Orange and Bergamont , it does last all day .

I have given up with perfumes tbh
