St Tropez - self tan HELP!

Hi,

I'm a pasty redhead with pale skin. Not albino pale though! I look good with a tan, but it is hard to come by as I find it really difficult to tan in the sun. Obv need high protection and it takes aaaaaages.

Tried sunbeds - they virtually do nothing, or it costs a fortune cos I have to go so many times.

Going to Thailand next week. I considered a salon tan, but
A. bit freaked out by some other woman massaging cream into my mummy tummy etc, and
B. Costs a lot for 1 tan!

Can anyone advise on St Tropez? I read a review saying you need the moisturiser and mitt too.

Where is cheapest to buy this stuff?

What do I do about my face (can I mix it with my moisturiser to tone it down?)

Been using Dove once a day with sparkly stuff, which is lovely, but I would like a darker tan really. THis has just taken the edge off my whiteness!

Oh, lord, I am dark haired and eyed with pale skin and I looked awful with St Tropez! I had it professionally done for a wedding and it was still far too dark. The woman who did it toned it down for my face, but....

PS I found a set of 120mls for 22.90 at pharmacy2u.co.uk. How many applications do you think I would ge tout of that?

Many thanks,
Emily

I am quite pale skinned with light hair & green eyes, i has a st tropez tan done at a salon before we went away & it looked fab on me, they done rub it into your skin you stand in a cubicle with hands & legs apart & turn around etc & they spray tan you, it's easy & not embarrassing at all, they do these all the time there used to all bodys.

Go for it!

On the subject of fake tan, has anyone had a fake bake tan done professionaly?

scoobydoo

I rang the salon and they had 3 choices:

Cream - £40 and about 75 mins
Mouse - £25 about 40 mins
Spray - £25 about 40 mins

she said the cream was better and lasted longer...

It was the cream I had. I'd have prefered the spry, tbh, but it wasn't available. Might have been more subtle and wouldn't have had to have been touched by a stranger. [tactaphobic emoticon]

yes, the thought of someone else having to lift up my saggy tummy is... ick

I must admit I am a self confessed St Tropez addict !! - I buy mine off ebay usually about half the price that boots sell it for including postgae - There's loads of people selling it brand new & sealed a lot cheaper than in the shops - They also do the kits with the exfoiliator & moisturiser too.
