Where can I get a shower hat that’s not made from cling film?

Desperately need a new shower hat but the only ones I can find are made of cling film. You used to be able to get nice waffle fabric ones - any idea where I could get one like that?

I’m not sure about fabric but TK Maxx always has a good choice of non-cling film shower caps

Poundland. They have plastic but non clingfilmy at 2 for £1, or the traditional lined ones for £2 each. DD is very fussy about the feeling of shower caps, so I have looked everywhere. Oddly, Poundland has been the best so far.

Boots

Boots, John Lewis, Amazon.

Home bargains.

Okay, this is really irritating - when I googled or searched on Amazon all I got were the cheapy ones that look like the kind you get free in hotel rooms. Shows the power of the Google bubble - although why does it think I want cheap and nasty? 😂

Thanks for all the recommendations - I’m actually going to be near a Poundland today so will pop in and have a look.

I googled fabric showercaps.

Primark and boots

CheckeredAliceBand · 23/03/2024 09:21

I got a fabric one from Amazon, but it is pink with Minnie Mouse on it - which would not have been my choice had there been any other options at the time... I feel rather foolish when I wear it, despite being alone

Cling film? I have never seen a shower cap made of cling film

I assume the OP was referring to the style of disposable plastic ones you get free in hotels.

I get mine in Boots or Primark usually, but the one I've got at the moment is from Poundland.

Amazon I would say amzn.to/4a5bESa

I have bought these recently for my mum and they are really good quality.

I’ve had a Shhhowercap for five plus years and still love it!
