What happened to Whistles?

Following on from the thread on Ted Baker, I was wondering what happened to Whistles. About 15 years ago 90% of my new purchases were Whistles and the stuff was incredible, Jane shepherdson was designing…..
It’s horrendous now.

The only things I have bought full price 15 plus years back were accessories like a scarf, everything else has been second hand. I really can’t see how some of the things I have bought are worth the money they have charged full price given that it is polyester and. O thing particularly special.

The clothes have always been expensive polyester that doesn’t last long. But I agree that it’s now ugly too.

Even their website looks cheap. Why would you make such an ugly uninspiring website? Its like someone wants it to go bust

It used to be aspirational but now it’s like M&S… so many brands going this way to save costs. Soon there will be nothing decent on the high st - hang on, there isn’t!!
